Wine Cellar Design Resources for Architects and Interior Designers

A wine cellar has to look like part of the house and work like a sealed refrigerator. Most trouble traces back to decisions made early in design: where the cooling unit goes, what the glass is, and whether the envelope was planned at all. We’re building resources to help you get those decisions right and specify with confidence.

Architect and Designer Questions, Answered

Can I specify Prestige materials on a project outside Texas?

Yes. We ship materials anywhere in the world. Tell us about your project on the form, and we’ll confirm lead times and delivery.

Do you offer CAD files or spec sheets?

We’re preparing specification resources now. The trade list will get them first.

Do you offer trade pricing?

Trade terms aren’t published yet. We’ll send them to the trade list when they’re ready.

How much space does a wine cellar envelope need?

It depends on the climate, the glass and the insulation. Plan for it early, because the insulation and vapor barrier need room in the walls and ceiling. Our heat load calculator can give you a first estimate of the cooling load.

Can you work from my drawings?

Yes. Send us your plans and we can design the wine cellar around them.
