This Austin residence was transformed through the integration of a statement-making wine wall that elevates the living space into a refined, gallery-like environment. The client envisioned a design that felt elegant, architectural, and reminiscent of the sophisticated wine displays found in fine dining settings.
To bring this vision to life, Prestige Wine Cellars designed a 532-bottle, climate-controlled wine wall using custom steel-framed insulated glass doors, transitional white oak racking, and matte black aluminum accents. The balance of natural wood warmth and modern framing created an atmosphere of quiet luxury — a seamless extension of the home’s contemporary interior.
Our Process
Our team began by carefully evaluating the space to integrate the wine wall without interrupting the room’s natural light or spatial harmony. Custom steel frames were fabricated to specification and paired with insulated glass to ensure perfect visibility and environmental control.
The racking was constructed from select white oak, chosen for its tone and grain pattern to complement the client’s existing finishes. Discreet LED lighting was installed to highlight each bottle while maintaining a soft, ambient glow. Every element — from bottle angle to door hardware — was refined for both form and function.
Through precise engineering and meticulous detailing, we delivered a wine feature that enhances the home’s architecture while ensuring long-term cellar performance.
