Glass Wine Room with Quartzite Wine Wall
Location
Austin, TX
Style
Modern
Capacity
240 bottles

Fit a true walk-in wine room into a footprint of roughly 8 by 9 feet behind a full glass enclosure, holding 240 bottles without losing the open, gallery-like feel of the space.
Two framed wine walls turn the corner, each backed in white-and-gold quartzite so the stone reads through the bottles. Floating wine pegs hold the collection two bottles deep, and the walls are finished in a light beige limewash for soft texture. A floating cabinet with a stone countertop, glass doors and drawers, plus floating shelves for spirits, gives the room a bar of its own.
