The rails
Long brass, label to the room
Brass rods run the length of each side wall between walnut pilasters, a pair under every bottle, each one finished at the timber with a small escutcheon. Behind them whitewashed stone glows through vertical reveals of light.
The feature wall
Black stone, lit around
The back wall is a tasting composition: a backlit black split-face stone panel over a presentation ledge, a slate counter, lit stemware niches and cubbies below. It is the view straight through from the doorway, and the reason for the name.
The island
Somewhere to set it down
A freestanding oak island with a slate top stands in the middle of the room, its shelves holding a few bottles in cradles. The tasting happens here, with the whole collection on either side.
The room
On show from the living room
A black steel storefront with fixed side lites and a single glazed door. The side lites frame the brass rails, so the collection is on show from the living room even when the door is closed.
FINISH
The Enfilade
Four ways
Tap a finish to sweep it across the room. As shown is included; the alternates change the timber and metal and leave the design untouched. The edition is ten across every finish, so a finish no one else chooses can be yours alone.

Edition of Ten
Reserve your edition.
Three decisions: how deep it runs, which specification, and how you’d like it delivered. Cooling, structural load and engineering are ours — they’re never a question you have to answer.
The Enfilade is shown at about 280 bottles. It is drawn to your room on commission rather than sold in sizes: the brass rails, the feature wall and the island hold their proportion, and capacity follows the room. Counts are confirmed at specification.

Have this configuration sent to you
We'll email the specification exactly as you've built it. No obligation, no drawings released.
Pricing shown is indicative. Final price is confirmed after field verification of your opening.
What Design Plans includes
Full architectural drawings dimensioned to your verified opening — plan, elevations, sections and details — plus structural load calculations, a complete material schedule listing every component, finish and quantity, and the cooling specification sized for your configuration. A licensed set, not a sketch.
Materials are not supplied at this level. Our racking, glass and cooling partners sell through authorised dealers only, so if you’d like us to supply and crate the components, choose Design + Materials.
Credited if you upgrade. The full plans fee is credited toward Design + Materials or Design + Build if you move up within twelve months.
Licensed for one build at one address. Not transferable and not for resale.
Provenance
Drawn, then built.
The Enfilade is a concept from the Prestige studio: a walk-in tasting room behind a black steel storefront, where about 280 bottles rest label-forward on long brass rod rails between walnut pilasters, against softly lit whitewashed stone. The fixed side lites frame the side-wall racks, so the collection shows from the living room with the door shut.
At the far end stand a backlit black stone feature wall and a full tasting composition; in the middle, a freestanding island. It is drawn on commission, to your room.

Display windows
The fixed side lites frame the racks, so the collection reads from the room with the door closed.

Black stone wall
Backlit split-face stone at the end of the room, over a presentation ledge.

Questions
Answered.
Who installs it?
Your own contractor. Every edition is engineered as a complete wine cellar kit — components arrive crated, numbered and drawn to your verified opening, with an installation set a competent carpenter can work from. No specialty glazier, no factory crew flown across the country. In Texas we install it ourselves if you’d rather.
Will it fit my space?
Almost certainly, and it won’t need to be a standard size.
The Enfilade is drawn to your verified opening rather than to a catalogue dimension.
It scales across Drawn to your room · racking on three walls, island at centre, and the proportions hold at any size in that range.
What happens if a measurement is wrong?
The sequence is built to prevent it. The channel and framing ship first and are installed before anything is cut. Your contractor then returns signed, verified opening dimensions, and only then is the glass cut and the racking finalised. Nothing expensive is fabricated against a number nobody has checked.
What’s included, and what isn’t?
Included: the architectural drawing set, all racking and display components, glass, lighting, hardware, the cooling unit sized for your configuration, and crated delivery. Not included: the wall or enclosure itself, electrical supply, and finish work by others. The drawing set states exactly which trades you need and what each is responsible for.
How long does it take?
It varies with the design — components are fabricated in parallel, and the longest one sets the schedule. Millwork runs eight to twelve weeks; metalwork two to four; frameless glass and mirrors about two; the cooling unit about two. Insulated glass doors are the long lead at twelve to sixteen weeks. Your drawing set states the schedule for your exact configuration before anything is fabricated.
What happens if the cooling fails?
Cooling is the one part that fails invisibly — you don’t find out until the wine does. Every edition is sized and specified by us rather than chosen from a list, and Prestige Care covers it from there. If a unit needs a technician the $500 service call is credited toward a replacement.
Is it really only ten?
Yes. Ten of each design, each numbered and recorded in the registry, and then the edition closes for good. The drawings aren’t reissued and the design isn’t rerun under another name.
Can I change the materials?
Yes — that’s Custom, available on any edition. Species, stain, metal finish, glass and stone are chosen with us rather than from a list, and layout or proportions can change too. Still numbered, still part of the edition, and priced above the authored finishes.
