The fins
A colonnade in oak
Oak fins stand at a steady rhythm around the room, each lit along its face and pinned to the soffit on a brass standoff, so the whole run looks as if it stands on its own. Between them, paired brass rods carry the bottles one to a level, every label facing you.
The tray
Where the rows pause
Halfway up every bay a sloped oak tray turns a few bottles label-up, and the band runs unbroken down both side walls. It is where the current favourites go, and it gives a wall of rows somewhere to rest.
The marble
Lit stone, and a table
White veined marble lines every bay on three walls and glows from behind. The same stone tops a freestanding white-oak island with drawers and cubbies for full cases, so the room has somewhere to open a bottle and somewhere to keep the case it came in.
The room
Bright, all the way in
Pale oak, pale stone, and a black steel front with French doors at the centre. Most walk-ins are dark rooms you visit; this one reads as part of the house, lit like the hall outside it.
FINISH
The Colonnade
Four ways
Tap a finish to sweep it across the room. As shown is included; the alternates change the timber and metal and leave the design untouched. The edition is ten across every finish, so a finish no one else chooses can be yours alone.

Edition of Ten
Reserve your edition.
Three decisions: how deep it runs, which specification, and how you’d like it delivered. Cooling, structural load and engineering are ours — they’re never a question you have to answer.
The Colonnade is shown at about 325 bottles. It is drawn to your room on commission rather than sold in sizes: the fin rhythm, the tray band and the island hold their proportion, and capacity follows the room. Counts are confirmed at specification.
Included in price
Have this configuration sent to you
We'll email the specification exactly as you've built it. No obligation, no drawings released.
Pricing shown is indicative. Final price is confirmed after field verification of your opening.
What Design Plans includes
Full architectural drawings dimensioned to your verified opening — plan, elevations, sections and details — plus structural load calculations, a complete material schedule listing every component, finish and quantity, and the cooling specification sized for your configuration. A licensed set, not a sketch.
Materials are not supplied at this level. Our racking, glass and cooling partners sell through authorised dealers only, so if you’d like us to supply and crate the components, choose Design + Materials.
Credited if you upgrade. The full plans fee is credited toward Design + Materials or Design + Build if you move up within twelve months.
Licensed for one build at one address. Not transferable and not for resale.
Provenance
Drawn, then built.
The Colonnade is a concept from the Prestige studio: a bright walk-in of pale white oak and backlit white marble, seen through a full-width black steel front. Oak fins stand in a colonnade around three walls, each one stopping short of the soffit on a brass standoff so the run reads as floating, and about 325 bottles lie between them on paired brass rods with every label turned to the room.
It has not been drawn for anyone yet. The Colonnade is drawn on commission, to your room: the fin rhythm, the display band and the island hold their proportion, and the rest follows your walls.
Brass
Every fin floats
Each oak fin stops short of the soffit on a brass standoff, so the colonnade stands clear of the ceiling.
1
Pale walk-in
The only bright, pale walk-in among the editions: white oak and white marble, with the black steel kept to the front.

Questions
Answered.
Who installs it?
Your own contractor. Every edition is engineered as a complete wine cellar kit — components arrive crated, numbered and drawn to your verified opening, with an installation set a competent carpenter can work from. No specialty glazier, no factory crew flown across the country. In Texas we install it ourselves if you’d rather.
Will it fit my space?
Almost certainly, and it won’t need to be a standard size.
The Colonnade is drawn to your verified opening rather than to a catalogue dimension.
It scales across Drawn to your room · floor-to-ceiling racking on three walls, and the proportions hold at any size in that range.
What happens if a measurement is wrong?
The sequence is built to prevent it. The channel and framing ship first and are installed before anything is cut. Your contractor then returns signed, verified opening dimensions, and only then is the glass cut and the racking finalised. Nothing expensive is fabricated against a number nobody has checked.
What’s included, and what isn’t?
Included: the architectural drawing set, all racking and display components, glass, lighting, hardware, the cooling unit sized for your configuration, and crated delivery. Not included: the wall or enclosure itself, electrical supply, and finish work by others. The drawing set states exactly which trades you need and what each is responsible for.
How long does it take?
It varies with the design — components are fabricated in parallel, and the longest one sets the schedule. Millwork runs eight to twelve weeks; metalwork two to four; frameless glass and mirrors about two; the cooling unit about two. Insulated glass doors are the long lead at twelve to sixteen weeks. Your drawing set states the schedule for your exact configuration before anything is fabricated.
What happens if the cooling fails?
Cooling is the one part that fails invisibly — you don’t find out until the wine does. Every edition is sized and specified by us rather than chosen from a list, and Prestige Care covers it from there. If a unit needs a technician the $500 service call is credited toward a replacement.
Is it really only ten?
Yes. Ten of each design, each numbered and recorded in the registry, and then the edition closes for good. The drawings aren’t reissued and the design isn’t rerun under another name.
Can I change the materials?
Yes — that’s Custom, available on any edition. Species, stain, metal finish, glass and stone are chosen with us rather than from a list, and layout or proportions can change too. Still numbered, still part of the edition, and priced above the authored finishes.
